This is a place of hope, healing, and new growth in Jesus Christ. Regardless of your past, God is ready to touch your life in an exciting new way!

Here, you will feel the presence of God in anointed, Spirit-filled worship, preaching, and teaching! You will also find loving people who will welcome you with open arms.

Our History

Following the call of God, Pastor Jason Sloan and his family moved to Port Angeles, WA in the spring of 2013 to plant a new church in the city. For several years God has been dealing with Jason and his wife Tammie to become church planters and start a new work in the United Pentecostal Church. Having previously been a part of three new church plants, Pastor Sloan and his wife were uniquely qualified to establish a new church under the help of the Holy Spirit.

Since moving to Port Angeles, the Sloan's have become a blessing to the community through their passion for ministry and love for people. God has been faithful to bless their efforts and the church has become a place that people can receive spiritual help and healing, enabling them to receive a "New Beginning." With over a decade in ministry, the Sloan's are able to help, encourage, inspire people, and train leaders.

The Sloan's have two sons and also work in the community. Jason works as a construction supervisor on commercial projects while Tammie works with children at the Boy's and Girl's Club.

Our leadership is excited about working with people of all ages.

Our Beliefs

Redeemed by a risen Savior, we've found new life in Jesus!

About the Bible

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (II Timothy 3:15-17).

About the Good News

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again. We obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial) and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection) ( I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, Acts 2:37-39; Romans 6:3-4).

About God

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16).

About Salvation

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).

About Christian Living

As Christians, we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly and worship God joyfully. The gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today (II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10).

About the Future

Jesus Christ is coming again for His church. In the end, there will be a final resurrection and a final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life and the unrighteous eternal death (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15).

New Beginnings is affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 NKJV
